I recently went to a wedding and reception for one of the girls I work with. The wedding was astounding and the bride couldn’t have looked more beautiful. It was one of the best wedding ceremonies I’ve been to in a long time. Their wedding ceremony was right out of a storybook of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Only without the horrid stepmother and dog ugly stepsisters. The brides attire was even more like Cinderella with the glass slippers she wore. The church was decorated beautifully for the ceremony. At the end of each pew they had white tulle draped from one row to the next with a gorgeous red aisle runner leading to the altar. Any real princess would have been thrilled with the wedding ceremony they had planned. Guests threw pink and white rose petals as the couple left the church. I couldn’t believe they actually had a horse drawn carriage to make their way to the reception. I did’nt think it could get much more fantastic than this. They also did a fantastic job on decorating the reception hall. There were tons of flowers and reception tables that glittered from all the crystal and silver they had laid out.
On the tables were little carriages used as placecard holders for each and every guest. Lined down the long tables were lovely little candle holders with castles on the front. The centerpieces she chose were pretty awesome too. They had gorgeous crystal bowls with floating candles and a ring of flowers all around it. The whole place was fantastic. As wedding favors they had all kinds of wedding wine favors. Some of the guests received wedding wine bottle favors and others had unique wine glass wedding favors as thank you gifts. As a thank you gift I was given a wine stopper wedding favor. A few of the guests were given calla lily wedding wine stopper favors and I had one in the shape of a heart. I never thought of wine party favor gifts before. All the guests seemed real pleased with their little thank you gifts. I was surprised that there were so many unique ideas for bottle stopper designs. There were even a few of the guests that received a glass oil bottle with a lovely wine label on it. There were even some very decorative wine glasses given out for some of the guests. The bride and groom really did a fantastic job in planning the reception. You could tell they put a lot of effort in planning this wedding and reception.
I’m planning my own wedding right now. I’m hoping our wedding will be just as wonderful as theirs was. I wanted to know where she found such an excellent décor and gifts for their wedding and reception. She gave me a link to an online wedding supply store that she said is one of the best. Everyone has received their invitations and we have chosen a spot for the ceremony at the beach. The decorations and other important accessories was all we needed to complete our wedding plans. After doing some online shopping, we now have everything we need for our oceanside wedding. This is going to be one super fantastic beach party reception.
